Caitlin Clark Points Today Against Lsu

Caitlin Clark Leads Iowa Back to Final Four

Hawkeyes Punch Ticket with 94-87 Win Over LSU

Clark Scores 41, Grabs 12 Assists

Iowa's transcendent star, Caitlin Clark, commanded the long-awaited rematch of last season's championship bout with a dominant performance that led the Hawkeyes to a 94-87 victory over LSU on Monday night.

Clark, who fueled Iowa's remarkable run to the Final Four last year, put on a three-point shooting clinic, draining nine shots from beyond the arc. The sophomore sensation finished with a game-high 41 points and added 12 assists, tying her career-high in that category.

With the victory, Iowa punches its ticket to the Final Four for the second consecutive year. The Hawkeyes overcame an early deficit and held on to a slim lead throughout the second half, thanks in large part to Clark's heroics.

Clark's performance drew high praise from Iowa head coach Lisa Bluder.

"Caitlin was simply phenomenal tonight," Bluder said. "Her ability to score and create for others makes her one of the most dynamic players in the country. She's the heart and soul of this team, and we wouldn't be here without her."

LSU, the defending national champions, gave Iowa a tough fight, but Clark's brilliance proved too much to overcome. The Hawkeyes will now face Stanford in the Final Four on Friday night.
