TORONTO -- Hockey Night in Canada host Ron MacLean is apologizing for a comment he made, but he will return to the show next season.
MacLean made the announcement at an event on Tuesday, July 19, 2023, confirming that he had spoken with CBC Sports management and had agreed to return to the show.
"I am committed to making Hockey Night in Canada the best it can be," MacLean said. "I am also committed to being a better listener and to using my platform to make a positive difference in the world."
